“Lucy, I know you’re a married woman. I would never do anything inappropriate.”
It was time to poke the beast lying just beneath the surface. “But if I wasn’t married…what would you do?”
I leaned slightly forward on my desk. My low-cut top showed off just enough cleavage to make an impression. My young, handsome chef couldn’t help but steal a glance at my breasts under the tight fabric of my shirt.
I wondered what had gotten into me. It had been a grueling day, but still, the only thing on my mind was the young man who obviously found me attractive. And yet, he was far too timid to make a move on me.
However, whenever Bryan asked about Alex’s work and what I thought of him so far, I knew that my husband was hinting, not-so-subtly, that he wanted something to happen between us. I felt almost inadequate because Alex hadn’t made a move on me yet. I was beginning to wonder if this was a one-sided crush. Maybe I had a dirty mind, and that was it.
Alex licked his lips nervously. “If you weren’t married? You probably don’t want to know what I’d do…”
“Go on,” I urged softly. I was desperate to know what he really thought of me.
Alex took a step towards me. His voice became bolder. “If you weren’t married, and it was just you and me in the kitchen, I would bend you over the counter, hike up your skirt, and take you.”
Startled by his frankness, I stood up straight, adjusting my shirt and concealing my cleavage once more.
Alex smirked. He could tell he was getting a rise out of me…
